Overview

Provides general medical care and treatment to patients in medical facility such as clinic, health center, or public health agency, under direction of Physician, by performing the following duties.

Opportunity:

  • Provides diagnostic and therapeutic health care to patients in collaboration with a licensed physician
  • Will be expected to practice the full spectrum of Occupational Medicine including OSHA mandated medical surveillance services, Department of Transportation mandated examinations, post offer of employment physicals, evaluation and management of work-related illness and injury.
  • Our open hours are Monday through Friday schedule is great for work-life balance (some flexibility required). This is a 0.8 FTE position.
  • No call required
  • Travel may be required to other clinics

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work well independently and under pressure.
  • Strong communication/interpretive and analytical skills.
  • A high level of independent judgment and ability to handle empowerment for independent action.
  • Ability to pass the Wisconsin Caregiver Background Check and/or Illinois Health Care Worker's Background Check.

Experience/Licensure:

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program or Physician Assistant Program
  • Current WI License (IL as well – will pay to obtain)
  • Current DEA number
  • NRCME to perform DOT exams – to be required within 90 days from hire date
